German Design Award 2013

Studio Palissa has been nominated for the German Design Award 2013.
Established on the initiative of the German Bundestag as a foundation in 1953, the German Design Council supports both culture and industry in all matters consistently aimed at generating an added value through design. Its establishment was prompted by the harsh criticism of the German product presentation from the post-war era at the New York Export Fair in 1949: According to a request of the SPD fraction, the German Bundestag decided to call for an independent Council for Shape Development. The German Design Council represents the German design scene and is one of the worlds leading competence centers in terms of design.
