Soma. Carsten Höller at Hamburger Bahnhof

Along the myth surrounding a healing potion, known among Vedic nomads in North India of the 2nd millenium before Christ, Carsten Höller devises a wonderous scenario at the crossroads between art and science at Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart Berlin.
Whereby we get knowledge? What role does the myth play in an evermore scientific society? Set against this backdrop, it is primarily about the questions that are embedded in a kind of extended, tree-dimensional tableau vivant by Höller, who was born in Brussels in 1961.
In a team of the Berlin agency Stan Hema, the entire communication concept for this bizarre spectacle was created.
